First Love Coffee

Located in the beating heart of Australia’s coffee capital, First Love Coffee has established a stellar reputation for sourcing some of the finest coffee in the world.

What began as a specialty blend has expanded to become a wholesaler and recently opened a dedicated café and shopfront in Melbourne’s Collins Arch.

Overlooking a park, the architecturally designed café is chic, stunning and effortlessly caters to the busy city crowd seeking quick but quality coffee and food.
And behind the First Love label are two very well-known icons of the Australian hospitality scene.

Brenton Lang and Drew Gibbs of Rustica Sourdough and The Hobsons Bay Hotel established First Love in 2018, adding to a lengthy list of successful ventures where the astute customer always comes first.

Staff needs to input orders quickly and ensure customers have a minimal wait time. To accommodate this, Bosstab was tasked with providing a range of tablet stands that allow staff to comfortably and efficiently take and fulfill orders while providing great service even in busy rush hours.

In such a fast-paced environment, the durability of the stands was also a significant consideration. Meanwhile, they needed to fit in with the look of the stunning surroundings.

To complement First Love Coffee’s look and ensure functionality and security, two tablet stands were selected.

For staff taking orders and payments at the Point of Sale, the white Elite tablet enclosure coupled with the Nexus stand proved the ideal option.

Lockable durable and secure, the Elite tablet enclosure is suited to 10.2-inch iPads yet is minimalistic and stylish.

The Nexus stand that accompanies it then enhances its versatility. Its 45-degree angle is ideal for staff accessing the POS, while the stand can be freestanding or screw mounted to the counter, with the further option of a heavy-duty base.

We went with a white Elite tablet enclosure coupled with the Evo X stand for the baristas responsible for making that famous coffee.

The Evo X pole provides additional functionality as it can rotate between portrait and landscape mode and tilt 40-degrees for ease of use.

The Evo X stand can be mounted to the counter or offers a freestanding base.

Tablet stands are necessary for bustling hospitality venues such as First Love Coffee. The streamlined white design perfectly suited the café’s stunning interior, while the durability and security made it ideal for a busy commercial environment.
