Find your model number
There are 2 ways to find your model number. Follow the below steps to find out “What iPad do I have?”.
Step 1
You can find your model number on the back of the iPad.
Step 2
Look for something that looks similar to: Model A1822.
Step 3
Alternatively you can open the settings app, press on the "General", and then press "About".
Step 4
You can find the model number by looking for the "Model" section. Please note this method does not always show the correct model number. We recommend using the first method highlighted in steps 1 & 2.
