Stokehouse St. Kilda

With its laid-back charm and a vibrant atmosphere, the venue prides itself on providing an award-winning food and wine experience coupled with a welcoming feel.

The stunning restaurant and bar fit-out is designed by Pascale Gomes-McNabb, and features glass lighting installations and floor-to-ceiling windows with uninterrupted views from wherever you sit.

Together the experience evokes the quintessential feel of an endless beach holiday.

With a space that caters to events, fine dining and casual get togethers, Stokehouse is acclaimed as ‘the Melbourne dining experience’.

Functionality and aesthetics were both front of mind when it came to creating the ideal solution for Stokehouse’s requirements.

In a busy hospitality environment, the stand needed to be durable and sturdy, yet the aim was to provide a minimalist look that allowed patrons to take in the picturesque surrounds and sublime restaurant fitout.

To accommodate both these needs, we opted to use the Touch tablet stand coupled with an Evo freestanding base.

The Touch is free of clamps, suits all models of iPad and Android tablets and allowed the venue to secure their iPads using a choice of two different strong 3M adhesives.

The Evo stand then offered the perfect height for staff to use devices at the Point of Sale.

Together, the look was seamless, fitting in beautifully with the restaurant’s beach feel and ambience.

Stokehouse has noted the solution offered just the look and functionality they were after. Describing the Touch Evo as a ‘nice, portable and clean system’, they say the added height is most welcome and the stand offers a durable well-built solution for Point of Sale.

As a result, they are also considering further Touch Evo stands to be used at their additional hospitality location, Pontoon in St Kilda.
